Though we are not actually going to discuss learning styles in this unit, I have included the references to learning styles that people have been using and referring to in other discussions. I am particularly fond of the Felder, because he is so practical. Of course, there are many others.
The two articles by Felder discuss the different learning styles our students may demonstrate. They also demonstrate disjunctions between how we learn and teach.
This questionnaire is an interesting way to find your learning style as well as those of others. Residents enjoy doing it to find how they learn well. It also can be taken and scored online.
